Search is where most title-company work now begins. This is the order we'd tackle it in for a title company.
1. Google Business Profile
Complete every field, choose the most specific primary category available for title & closing, add real photos of your work, and keep hours and service area accurate. This is usually the single biggest lever in local search and it costs nothing.
2. A page per service
Each service has different intent, urgency, and job value. Build them separately:
- Title searches and examinations
- Title insurance policies
- Residential and commercial closings
- Escrow and settlement services
- 1031 exchange coordination
- Mobile and remote online notarization
3. A page per market
Cover the cities you genuinely serve, with specifics about working in each. Link them to the relevant service pages and to neighboring markets.
4. Buying-stage content
- What title-company work costs and what drives the price
- How the process works and how long it takes
- Comparisons between the options you offer
- Answers to the questions you get on every call
5. Reviews and local links
Ask every satisfied customer at job completion, respond to all reviews, and pursue a handful of genuinely local links each year — associations, suppliers, sponsorships. Skip bulk directory packages.
What to expect
Long-tail and secondary market terms typically move within three to four months. Primary terms in a competitive market take longer, and the gains compound the longer you keep publishing.
